This is my favorite photo taken in 2019 for a few reasons. The lighting and rolling hills makes it have depth, the subject (a wild mule) stands out, I also love it because it reminds me of my photo expedition with my son which was our first big one where we visited 4 states in 9 days and multiple state and national parks. Not everyone agrees that this is a great photo, but beauty is in the eye (and mind) of the beholder. My hope is to get out on another big photo expedition in 2020 to get more photos of nature, landscapes, and the night sky and to rekindle my love for photography hopefully with a new Olympus E-M5 Mark III which is a small lightweight camera that's small enough for travel but can keep up with the giant heavy DSLR's. #Olympus2019Favorite #getolympus @getolympus This photo was taken at @custerstateparksd in South Dakota. Taken at Custer State Park in South Dakota, this wild mule was walking with his pack. They were very friendly. Love the look of this photo and how the editing makes it look kind of like a painting. Also love the way the sun reflects off his hair. .
